One of the world’s top 100 healthcare leaders

Southern Cross University Ph.D. candidate Sayed Ahmed was the only Australian to be recognised this year as a Top 100 healthcare leader by the International Forum on Advancements in Healthcare (IFAH).

Sayed, the founder of pedorthic company Foot Balance Technology, won the award for his research into footwear innovations designed to reduce and prevent ulcers in diabetic patients.

The IFAH award is based on significant innovations in business and global impact in health care.

Sayed chose Southern Cross for his Ph.D. because it is the only university in Australia teaching pedorthics, where he could find industry leaders with the expertise to guide his research.

Where could you go with a Podiatry or Pedorthics degree from Southern Cross University?
